Dr. Asia Abdulkadir is the chairwomen of the Network of Eritrean Women (NEW). She is Country Coordinator with Kindernot-hilfe, Somalia. Previously she worked with UNDP and UNWOMEN as a gender advisor in Somalia. Asia Abdulkadir specialized in sexual and gender-based violence. She lives in Nairobi.
Eiman Abulgasim Seifeldin is initiator of Solidan campaign for democratic transfer in Sudan and a founding member and former Executive Director of the International Crime Monitor (ICM). She is board member of the Sudanese Environmentalist Association and lobbies for women rights in conflicts zones.
Dr. Rachel Ibreck is a researcher at the Goldsmith University London with a focus on human rights policies, justice and civil society in the context of conflict and genocide. Another stream of research focuses on land conflict, including transnational and local resistance to 'land grabbing' in Africa. She has also worked on everyday experiences of justice amid conflict in South Sudan.
Dr. Mariam Wagialla is an architect and city planner expert in gender-sensitive spatial planning, diversity management and change facilitation. She got her PhD in Urban Landscape Planning at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU) in Vienna. Before that she worked at the Ministry of Planning and Urban Development in Khartoum.
Rita ISIBA is speaker, moderator and trainer based in Vienna, Austria. As a certified Business Consultant, she brings more than 15 years of experience in communication and management. She is founder of Aphropean Partners and of Frontiers of Dialogue Forum.

Mendy is very happy to announce that our next conference is about Sudanese women and diversity “Sudanese women: Gender and Diversity” and under the slogan: “Mendy shines from Vienna with Global Visions”, which was organized by the Arts of Banat Mendy in March 2021, followed by many parties concerned about Sudan issues, African peace and the Panel discussion: Peace and Security from Gender Perspectives of Women from Horn of Africa.

The idea of a real-world conference adopted by one of the largest Austrian organizations has blossomed www. vidc.org

Participate in the conference of women aware of the necessity of peace and security in the African century who participated in the Mendy Conference in March. 2021.

The events last for two days and the conference starts with an open forum to the public taking into account the precautions against Corona.

And above all the Austrian organization that built this conference, its event, ticketing and accommodation. The conference will be broadcast live and across several channels and media coverage of the events will be provided except for our closed retreat.

My happiness is incomparable and our mother Mendy is literally shining in Vienna.

And what’s coming is blooming, and the persistence. By hard work and belief in the abilities of oneself in the individual and collective dimension. Believing in networking, solidarity, and opening up to the world with a clear mind.
