Festival: Resillience, Women X Flight

On the 4th and 5th October 2024, Mendy for Peace Culture and Diversity Management collaborated with UNHCR and the Brunnenpassage in Vienna for the Long Day of Flight Festival, where we highlight the lived experience of women fleeing, Human Rights, and what a Home means.

Day 1

As part of the Festival we had with Performances from Shorooq Akram Monzer, performer and co-director of the Lalish Theatre Laboratory Dr Nigar Hasib and Singer Mai Ibrahim, Readings of Stories from Mendy Garden, and a Film Showing, “The Last Letter to Nasser” by filmmaker Maga Fayza Harby from Bemmann, Germany/Egypt.

As part of the Readings of Mendy’s Garden, we feature the following people, who share their stories of flight:
