Spices × Encounter = Solidarity

For centuries, spices have not only been a symbol of cultural diversity and flavour but also a driving force behind colonialism and power struggles. The spice trade led to conquests, exploitation, and the oppression of many peoples.

Today, we want to rethink this complex legacy: spices now represent the diversity of cultures and people coming together in encounters. Through open and respectful meetings, solidarity and cohesion arise that transcend historical boundaries and conflicts.

Thus, a symbol of exploitation transforms into a source of inspiration—for togetherness that celebrates diversity and builds bridges.

Another goal is to offer women from the Horn of Africa, especially Sudanese women, an opportunity for solidarity and participation in the labour market. In the case of orders, twenty percent of the proceeds are allocated to Sudanese war-displaced women.
